Satoko really played us well in the first half. I really feel sorry for Teppei. He finally did changed in this shard just to be used by Satoko.

I'm torn between this and a happy ending. As a huge fan of the first 2 seasons, I want the whole crew to be happy together, but Sotsu's making me have second thoughts.

It does. That's why I called them season 1 and 2. This is a continuation after all. I'm just saying that I felt good after season 2's ending so I don't want this sad ending where Satoko just dies.

I'm under the impression that what we're watching is the creation of Bernkastle and LambdaDelta.

My theory is that part of being a witch means being able to rise above the challenges of time. I think this is all to see if Rika has what it takes and Satoko got tricked into being part of her exam, metaphorically speaking. Satoko probably had the potential as well which led her to Eua. What's interesting to me in all this is how ridiculous Keiichi is when you think about it. When he gets attacked he has an amazing survival instinct, he's charismatic enough to move the entire town when he needs to, and whenever he goes crazy from Hinamizawa Syndrome it's usually on the behalf of someone else. I think Eua's interested in him too, because even though he has no powers, he proves to be an exceptional human in each shard in one way or another.

Charisma is something anybody can achieve with enough self confidence, the difficulty comes from having that confidence and actually being able to be charismatic. Look at Kane from the CnC franchise, his charisma alone is enough to bring many to his side to the point he has one of the most powerful armies in the multiverse. The Brotherhood of Nod could probably take on most anime villains.
